The Way Through

The Way Through is about the strange comfort of direction, even when the destination remains distant. Sometimes we look for certainty before we are willing to move, wanting to know exactly where something will lead before taking another step.

Photographed beneath the pier at Hervey Bay in Queensland, the repeating structure seems to stretch endlessly toward a single point on the horizon. The sea is quiet, the light soft, and there is no great revelation waiting at the end. There is simply a way forward.
