After the Storm

COOGEE · NSW · AUSTRALIA

The storm does not have to be forgotten for the light to return.
Sometimes they share the same sky.

Coast Cloud Awe Perspective Dramatic

There are moments when the storm has passed, but its presence still hangs in the air. After the Storm belongs to that space, when darkness has not entirely left, yet light has already begun to reclaim the horizon.

Photographed at Coogee in New South Wales, the last of the storm clouds stretched across the sea while warm light broke beneath them, catching the water and returning across the wet sand. Nothing had completely cleared. Perhaps that was what made the light feel so extraordinary.
