Who Finds Their Way to Hades?
Hades often finds people who are not frightened by depth simply because it is dark.
People who prefer substance to spectacle. People who understand privacy, boundaries and the difference between what is hidden and what is secret.
Those drawn to Hades may appear reserved, self-contained or difficult to read. There is often a strong respect for responsibility, loyalty and promises that are meant to be kept.
They may also be comfortable with subjects other people avoid: endings, grief, ancestry, mortality, shadowed emotions and the quiet transformations that happen away from public view.
Hades does not demand that darkness be made beautiful before it can be entered.
The Lord of the Underworld
Hades is not death itself.
He is the ruler of the place to which the dead descend.
A king of what lies below.
Hades is one of the three sons of Kronos and Rhea who divide the cosmos after the defeat of the Titans.
Zeus receives the sky. Poseidon receives the sea. Hades receives the realm beneath the earth.
Unlike the more visible Olympians, Hades rarely leaves his kingdom. His power is quieter, more fixed and difficult to escape.
Wealth Beneath the Earth
The earth hides other treasures too.
Metals. Minerals. Seeds. Roots. Everything buried before it rises.
What is unseen is not necessarily empty.
Sometimes it is where value waits.

Dark wine. Honey. Coins. Black or deep violet candles. Cypress. Pomegranate. Dark stones or minerals. A simple offering placed with respect.
Keep a promise. Honour the dead. Tend a grave. Research your ancestors. Put your affairs in order. Respect another person's privacy. Learn to sit quietly with an ending.
